Perhaps one of the greatest era of modern cricket has come to an end. Virat Kohli has provided a good spice to India Cricket. The passion, the motivation – on & off the ground he brings to the team is perhaps to the next level. After previously stepping down as Indian Cricket Captain from T20I and ODIs he has decided to call it quits in Test Cricket after serving as a Captain of the team for 7 years.
Virat Kohli announced his decision on Twitter. He thanked BCCI, Team Management, Ravi Shastri and MS Dhoni for supporting him during his tenure. We will surely miss him as a captain however as a player it will be a delight to have him play and watch his majestic batting as a Team Player.
