India, “a country of honour” announced the Cannes film festival

Cannes Film festival begins this May 17, and last week India prided itself on being called as “ country of honour”. Akshay Kumar, AR Rehman, filmmaker Shekar Kapur, and south actress Pooja Hedge will be seen walking the red carpet on the opening day of the 75th Cannes Festival as part of the Indian Continent.

The Ministry of Broadcasting has confessed that they have selected 10 movies to be screened in the 10-day festival.
